Based on Texas Instruments' three-chip Digital Light Processing(tm) (DLP (Digital Light Processing) A data projection technology from TI that produces clear, readable images on screens in lit rooms. DLP is used in all types of projection devices, from data projectors that weigh only a few pounds to large rear-projection TVs to electronic )(tm) engine, the VistaGRAPHX Roadie brings high-brightness and high-resolution together in a feature-rich projector that takes just minutes to set up.

The Roadie provides over 6000 ANSI lumens brightness, 1024x768 true resolution with resizing capabilities, and an ANSI (American National Standards Institute, New York, www.ansi.org) A membership organization founded in 1918 that coordinates the development of U.S. voluntary national standards in both the private and public sectors. It is the U.S. member body to ISO and IEC.  contrast ratio of greater than 250:1 and over 400:1 full field. Typical set-up takes under 30 minutes with no convergence necessary. Thus, the Roadie is ideally suited for demanding, time-sensitive applications such as rental/staging, concert halls, auditoriums, churches, theme parks, post-production houses and corporate/education presentation facilities.
