The FLEX system spans test requirements from conventional DFT DFT - discrete Fourier transform  and structural test to standard analog and from mixed-signal to complex SoC. It readily adapts to new test requirements with its Universal Slot architecture and high-density instrument design. The EG6000 is a 300-mm production wafer prober, designed for high-volume manufacturing, which utilizes precision direct-drive technology to achieve the highest accuracy available today. Its contact control with MicroTouch(TM) provides the soft touchdowns necessary for effectively testing delicate SoC device technologies. Its portability provides ease-of-use advantages in highly flexible testing environments.

"The aim of this integration and the involvement at the Teradyne engineering center is to give customers the opportunity to evaluate Electroglas products and develop their test processes in a safe, cost-effective way," said Ying Shiau, Sr. VP of Asia Sales, Electroglas. "We are pleased to be a part of this effort, demonstrating the benefits to customers of expert companies working together to overcome the challenges found in semiconductor test."
