"I like the fact that Electric Lite Green gives me the opportunity to take control of my energy buying decisions so I can invest in the planet."

The introduction of Electric Lite Green also was applauded by environmentalists who say the lower-impact energy is a big improvement from what Oregonians currently receive. "Electric Lite Green is a big step in the right direction," said Eugene Rosolie, director of Northwest Environmental Advocates Green Power Project. "Choosing Electric Lite Green gives every residential and business consumer the option to cast a vote for the environment by supporting renewable and low-impact energy sources. We only wish the rest of Oregon had the ability to choose environmentally sound resource packages such as this."
