VSE - Virtual Storage Extended : ELD) Eldorado Corporation Ltd. has acquired by private placement special warrants for the right to acquire ownership of a further 480,000 common shares and non-transferable share purchase warrants to acquire up to a further 240,000 common shares of Energold Mining Ltd. ("Energold") for a total beneficial ownership, control or direction over 971,482 common shares representing 17.43 percent of Energold's issued capital, if no other shares were issued. Energold is conducting mineral exploration in the Dominican Republic where it is developing the El Higo exploration concession. The El Higo concession contains the Centenario gold deposit, a potentially economic open pittable mineral resource estimated to contain 220,000 ounces of gold in 1,206,041 tons at a grade of 0.183 oz/ton gold. In addition, Energold is carrying out exploration on several other concessions in the Dominican Republic. The acquisition by Eldorado of shares in Energold is for investment purposes. Eldorado may decide from time to time in the future to increase its ownership of Energold's common shares.
