EldoS Corporation's New Software Securely Connects and Transforms Data for Microsoft(R) SQL Server Users.
LONDON -- EldoS Corporation announces today the release of a new software product for the corporate market, providing comprehensive security enhancements for Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). Customers will benefit from direct secure connections to SSH-, SFTP-, FTPS-servers through newly developed connectors. Among other significant benefits is an ability to encrypt/decrypt operations using OpenPGP and PKI technology implemented as Microsoft SQL tasks, as well as support of native security of PDF and XML files and other features, detailed below. Put together, this software release dramatically improves secure connectivity and data transformations within distributed business servers' infrastructure.
EldoS Corporation is the recognized leader on the market of security components for software development. For many years, EldoS SecureBlackbox family is guarantying security of countless software products used all over the world. A huge demand from corporations for secure data storage and transfer prompted EldoS to release an addition to the SecureBlackbox family targeted at the market of Microsoft SQL Server owners. Currently, with Microsoft SQL Server being a widespread platform, the set of tasks and connectors for SSIS bringing security to the level of modern requirements and latest standards, is a natural fit.
"During communications with our corporate clients, engineers of EldoS Corporation often receive complaints about lack of solutions for SSIS providing secure communication abilities," says Eugene Mayevski, EldoS CTO. "Use of standard SSIS FTP connector for file exchange with remote server is insecure and unacceptable in the majority of cases. This is why release of SecureBlackbox for Microsoft SQL Server is such a welcome event. Communications of your SSIS will be expanded by newly developed connectors which support secured access to remote SFTP-, FTPS-, and SSH-servers. Your toolbox will also include a new connector adding possibility to send an e-mail from mail-servers via secure protocol SMTP. SecureBlackbox for Microsoft SQL Server expands the list of SSIS tasks accessible to you, and, what is especially important; these tasks are powered by the most current cryptographic protection. We are offering complete implementation of OpenPGP for encryption/decryption operations, plus reliable security support for your files in PDF, XML and other formats by established cryptographic algorithms and technologies. You will also benefit from powerful PKI technology for creating and verifying digital signatures, encrypting/decrypting data and files. And, last but not least, you will be able to run tasks that send commands to remote SSH-servers, upload and download files securely by SFTP and FTPS protocols."
The release of SecureBlackbox for Microsoft SQL Server is now available for evaluation. The software can be downloaded from the corporate website. After successful June 2008 release of SecureBlackbox for BizTalk, EldoS Corporation is currently expanding its SecureBlackbox for Business Servers family. Moreover, preview version of SecureBlackbox for Windows Workflow Foundation (WWF) is already available for download and early evaluation. Please look for additional information at www.eldos.com.
