Elder-Beerman Will Webcast Conference Call to Discuss First Quarter 2001 Results.

) will release first quarter 2001 earnings results on Friday, May 25, 2001, before the market opens. The company will provide a live webcast of its conference call to discuss first quarter results at 11:00 a.m. Eastern Time, May 25, 2001. Frederick J. Mershad, chairman, president and chief executive officer, and Scott J. Davido, executive vice president and chief financial officer, will host the call.
