Elbit Vision Systems Ltd. (EVS) the world's leading provider of Computer Vision Systems for the automatic inspection of textile fabrics and industrial webs has announced today that it has established a direct presence in China by opening a representation office in Shanghai.

EVS has been operating in China for the past several years and established an Automatic Inspection customer base. The company has noted the growth and volume market offered today by Asia, and consequently added this capacity to better service and support that market. The company's objective is to establish the company as a significant partner with the leading Textile manufacturers, now integrating Quality Inspection capabilities into their products.
