Elastix Appliance Now Interoperable with Sangoma VoIP Cards For Efficiency, Stability, and Ease of Use.

--Solution Fits Small Business, Contact Centers, and Enterprise--

TORONTO -- Sangoma[R] Technologies Corporation (TSXV: STC) today announced interoperability between its VoIP cards and Elastix's entry-level appliance, the Elastix ELX-025, and its newer LCD-driven Elastix ELX-3000.

Elastix Appliance[R] is full-featured, Linux-based open source PBX appliance software that supports Sangoma cards as an interface to the PSTN via analog and digital ports. Elastix combines tools available for Asterisk-based PBXs, and adds its own set of utilities to allow for the creation of third-party modules, making it a strong choice for open source VoIP.

"We are excited about supporting Sangoma VoIP cards out of the box," said Jose Landivar, Elastix Commercial Director. "This will give us reach into a market that values stability, ease of use and quality."

Interoperability with Sangoma VoIP cards means the Elastix Appliance is now suitable for small businesses, SOHOs, enterprise, and contact center customers. Elastix also has a fully working Call Center module that may optionally be activated to provide features like: Advanced Reporting, Predictive Dialing, and Screen Pop-ups.

To make the combination even more efficient, Landivar said they are currently working on the Elastix GUI to provide an auto-detect feature that automatically sets up the Sangoma card for use with Elastix.

"We're proud to be demonstrating the Elastix appliance at TMC's ITEXPO," said Lisa Szeto, Events Manager for Sangoma. "Also featured in our booth are demonstrations from 3CX, FreeSWITCH, InConcert, Microsoft Response Point, pbxnsip, and trixbox pro."

Sangoma will be exhibiting at ITEXPO in Booth 703.
