 boost regulator, Vcom regulator, and two regulated charge pumps. The new EL7580C and EL7581C are designed for use in 14- to 20-inch-and-larger TFT/LCD monitors, LCD notebook displays, and LCD TVs, as well as portable products such as Pocket PCs and PDAs.

The integrated FET boost regulator in both the EL7580C and EL7581C provides the TFT/LCD column driver power, generating +12V at up to 700mA continuous current from a +5V input, with a typical efficiency of 90%. The boost regulator can provide regulated voltages ranging from +5V to +18V.
