"We are very proud of the results that we have been able to attain in a relatively short period of time and in a very competitive market," said Steve Hall, president of Ekra America, in a statement.

ASYS purchased EKRA in July 2005, which was a contributing factor to the results of the past 12 months, the company said.

"Our operational capability increased greatly with the purchase, and the combined strength of the worldwide sales and service organization has allowed us to support our customer base at an even higher level," Hall said.
