Eisai Establishes Sales Subsidiary in Sweden.
Tokyo, Japan, July 14, 2005 - (JCNN JCNN - Japan Corporate News Network) - Eisai (TSE: 4523) has announced the July 8 establishment of Eisai AB, a new sales company in Sweden. Capitalized at 150 million yen ($1.3 mil), Eisai AB will serve as a sales base in the Nordic market (Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Norway).
Specifically, the new company, a subsidiary of Eisai's group company Eisai Europe Limited., plans to promote products in the field of neurology, including Eisai's proprietary antiepileptic agents Zonegran and Inovelon.
