Einstein Wireless Teams with MAMA, Inc. to Promote the Growth of Wisconsin Music Education; Partnership Kicks off With Exclusive Compilation CD of Wisconsin's Award-Winning Music to Benefit MAMA, Inc., Available Only at Einstein Wireless.


APPLETON, Wis. -- Einstein Wireless, the premier Wisconsin-based wireless carrier, today announced its partnership with not-for-profit Madison Area Music Awards, Inc. (MAMA) to help promote the growth of local music throughout Wisconsin. This is the first music education sponsorship for Einstein Wireless' Project Hometown home·town

 Talent, an initiative that fosters community programs and promotes academics, athletics and creativity for Wisconsin youth.

One key result of this partnership is the creation and promotion of a CD featuring a compilation of local, award-winning musical artists. The CD, produced exclusively by Einstein and MAMA, features 14 songs and will be sold for $6.99 at Einstein Wireless stores starting July 26, 2006. All proceeds from the CD sales will go directly to MAMA for continued support of local musicians. Audio samples of the soundtracks are available at www.einsteinwireless.net.

This partnership with MAMA complements Einstein's effort to provide advanced music functionality on mobile phones, and coincides with the launch of its "Jam Packed" campaign that demonstrates a mobile music lifestyle. Sony Ericsson is a joint venture established in 2001 by the Japanese consumer electronics company Sony Corporation and the Swedish telecommunications company Ericsson to make mobile phones.
 Walkman(R) W810i and W300i phones that will be available for sound checks at events throughout the state during July and August.

In the future, Einstein and MAMA will continue to promote the advancement of music education by making independent/local music available for download on the Einstein Wireless Web site.

Additional Partnership Activities

MAMA and Einstein Wireless will work with several Wisconsin organizations and groups such as Broadjam and Rick's Cafe to help promote and expand music potential among youth in Wisconsin.
