Eickhorn to the Rescue.


Rescue knives and tools are standard equipment for military police, fire fighters and emergency medical technicians. Germany's Eickhorn-Solingen produces a full line of rescue knives, one design (the RT-I) is a hand-me-down from the famous LL80 paratrooper knife. Eickhorn has designed its RT-III rescue tool in cooperation with professional emergency teams from Europe and the United States. The RT-III is equipped with a prying tool/screw driver, a seatbelt cutter and a glass saw for tackling laminated glass. It also features a window puncher, a serrated edge, illuminating strips and a special holster for carrying on a breathing apparatus or belt. The blade length of the RT-III is 135 mm with a total unfolded length of 270 mm.
