: BMY) to conduct a search for the pharmaceutical company's next chief executive officer. George Davis, U.S. Co-Managing Partner of Egon Zehnder, will lead a team to conduct the search.

The Bristol-Myers Squibb Board of Directors has appointed James Cornelius, a director of the company since January 2005 and chairman emeritus of Guidant Corporation, to act as interim chief executive officer. Cornelius, who does not wish to be considered a candidate in the search, replaces Peter R. Dolan Peter R. Dolan (born 1956) is a former chief executive officer of Bristol-Myers Squibb.
