Dave Eggers Dave Eggers (born March 12, 1970) is an American writer, editor, and publisher. Eggers tries too hard to be original in his style, which leads to inconsistency in the quality of the writing. Readers will be thrilled with one story and disappointed in the next, wanting some well-done stories to be longer and dragging themselves to the end of others.
