This is an annual conference of the Special Interest Group on Data Communication (SIGCOMM), a special interest group of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM). It is a forum for the discussion of data communications and computer networks, including technical design and engineering, regulation and operations, as well as the social implications of computer networking. This year's conference took place in Stockholm, Sweden, August 28 - September 1.
