Chapter (Ohio) met in the spring for its annual "Education Night." There are also campuses at Lima, Mansfield, Marion, and Newark. , a panel discussion on skills, tips on employment searches and career planning and a speech by Ohio-State head football coach Jim Tressel James Tressel (born December 5, 1952) is the current head football coach at the Ohio State University. He was hired in 2001 to replace John Cooper. Since becoming Ohio State's 22nd head football coach, his team has won a National Championship, achieving the first 14-0 season (pictured at left) Senior and Junior awards were given out, and two scholarships ($1,000 each plus $1,000 matches from each of the schools) were awarded to two outstanding students. The winners were Jeannie Gedra of OSU's Finance Department (Far right) and Cynthia Coss of Ohio University's Finance Department (second from left). Both are leaders in their schools and had a genuine financial need for the scholarships to continue pursuing career as financial executives. Presenting Jeannie Gedra's award is Richard Nadler the chapter's Scholarship Committee chairman. |
