Education increasingly difficult for young Palestinians.

(ENI)--Schooling for Palestinian children is a story of constant interruptions, closings and curfews, which Palestinians and human rights groups believe are being used to punish people for the ongoing intifada Intifada (ĭntēfă`dĕ) [Arab.,=uprising, shaking off], the Palestinian uprising during the late 1980s and early 90s in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, areas that had been occupied by Israel since 1967. , the uprising against Israeli occupation that started in September 2000.

Schools in Bethlehem were shut down in early January under an enforced curfew.
