Education Programs Leading to Postprofessional Degrees for Physical Therapists.

Programs of graduate study are developed to meet the needs and interests of students. The programs listed below provide postprofessional graduate education opportunities for physical therapists; however, not all of the degrees offered by these programs are necessarily in physical therapy. Number of programs listed: master's degree (69), doctoral degree (30), nonregional accredited degree (2), and graduate certificate (3).

Although the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) compiles the list of programs leading to postprofessional degrees as a service to its members, this list does not denote approval by APTA or the accreditation of these programs by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
