Edmond Haxhinasto visits Macedonia.

Edmond Haxhinasto, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Albania, paid a 2-day official visit to the Republic of Macedonia on 16-17 March.

In the course of his conversation with his host, Macedonian Foreign Minister Nikola Poposki, satisfaction was expressed with the cooperation realized so far and the commitment to promoting the overall relations between the two countries was reconfirmed. The economic cooperation was tabled, too, and it was pointed out that the joint activities for improving the road and rail infrastructure connections need to intensify. The multilateral cooperation and mutual support were discussed as well.

Minister Haxhinasto was received also by Macedonian President Gjorge Ivanov, Parliament Speaker Trajko Veljanoski and Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski.
