Editorial forewarning brings nods of agreement.Your November editorial ["Be Forewarned"] was very interesting and timely. Just the other week, The New York New York, state, United States New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of Times ran an article called "Manufacturing Jobs Are Exiting Mexico: Business Leaders Try to Stop the Exodus of Factories to China" In the article, it mentions some of the reasons for the move. For one, labor rates in Mexico are about $2 an hour, while in China it varies from $0.35 to $1. In all, Mexico has lost about 287,000 jobs since October 2000. The article also mentions that the Delphi R&D) Center in Juarez might not be needed anymore if they won't be doing production in Mexico in the future. Again, it was a very good editorial in that you let people know just what is going on and forewarned them to get ready and to prepare. --Mike McKeown, Orthodyne Electronics Your November editorial hits the nail on the head.
