Edison Offers Energy Efficiency Programs for Business.


To help business owners cope with California's ongoing energy crisis, Southern California Edison Southern California Edison (or SCE Corp), the largest subsidiary of Edison International (NYSE: EIX), is the primary electricity supply company for much of Southern California. It provides 11 million people with electricity.  (SCE SCE (in Scotland) Scottish Certificate of Education

) offers several programs that can help businesses reduce their electric bills and help the state conserve tight energy supplies.

"Southern California Edison wants customers to know about its energy-efficiency programs -- Express Efficiency, Savings By Design and Standard Performance Contract -- and how they can help businesses save money," says Pam Bass, SCE Senior Vice President of Customer Service.

With SCE's Express Efficiency Small Business Rebate Program, business owners can get cash rebates for retrofitting their operations with qualifying, energy-saving equipment. The program provides cash back to help owners afford the equipment needed immediately, while lowering electric bills in the future. . The program provides services to business owners, architects and contractors involved in new construction projects and is also available to assist when stores, office complexes, warehouses or other types of businesses are expanded or remodeled. For more information, call (800) 338-8502.

SCE's Standard Performance Contract is for large customers who can save at least 100,000 kWh per year by replacing or retrofitting projects by installing variable speed drives on electric motors, adding lighting controls to reduce lighting operating hours or replacing standard-efficiency air conditioning air conditioning, mechanical process for controlling the humidity, temperature, cleanliness, and circulation of air in buildings and rooms.
