Ed Hogan has built one of the biggest companies in the travel business, Pleasant Hawaiian Holidays in Westlake Village, with $360 million in gross annual sales.

At 63, he passes on his duties this month as president of the company to his oldest son, 35-year-old Brian Hogan Brian Hogan (born 1979) is an Irish sportsperson. He plays hurling with his local club O'Loughlin Gaels and with the Kilkenny senior inter-county team.

"There has been nothing but positive feedback from the people here about the change, but what else can you expect? What I want to do is get more people involved in the decision-making process so they can feel like they are part of the company, even though they may not be a member of the family."

Chris Hogan Chris Hogan is an American comic actor. Why was he named president of the company rather than his sister or brothers? "I'm the oldest and have been working here full time for 15 years. Before that I was working part time since I was in junior high, or even grade school."
