Ecora's Enterprise Auditor Judged One of Three Best in its Category in SearchWin2000.com ''Products of the Year'' Awards.

PORTSMOUTH, N.H. -- Configuration solution earns bronze honors in the network and systems management category for collecting critical change management data

Ecora Software today announced that its Enterprise Auditor product was judged as one of the three best network and systems management products released in 2004, in TechTarget's SearchWin2000.com 2004 "Products of the Year" Awards.

Ecora's Enterprise Auditor was chosen from among 100 new products submitted for consideration to SearchWin2000.com editors in five major categories. Enterprise Auditor was the only change configuration product to make the "Products of the Year" list.

Enterprise Auditor is Ecora's configuration management software that helps network administrators and managers automatically track not only server configuration, security and compliance settings, but also other critical changes throughout a system.

"You can sit at one workstation and collect all of this (server configuration) data. It puts all the data in a database and you can run any kind of report that you want," said one of the Award judges. "It's most useful for people who don't have a well-established change-management system. If you have really rigid change management in place, then you probably have this data, but most people who are managing Windows servers See Windows Server 2003, Windows Home Server, Windows 2000 and Windows NT.  don't have well-established change management."

Alex Bakman, Ecora's founder and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board. , said, "It is truly an honor As a verb, to accept a bill of exchange, or to pay a note, check, or accepted bill, at maturity. To pay or to accept and pay, or, where a credit so engages, to purchase or discount a draft complying with the terms of the draft.  to be singled out as one of the very best products in the network and systems management category by such a respected industry publication and demanding team of judges. Ecora products are the solution of choice for more than 3,000 customers worldwide. Our winning of this award lends credibility to our customers' choice of Ecora as the right solution provider to help them meet their ever-increasing IT change management, security, and compliance challenges."

"Ecora's Enterprise Auditor is especially effective for enterprise clients who need to comply with the internal IT control requirements of Sarbanes-Oxley or similar legislative mandates," Bakman added. "These applications are where Auditor's comprehensive reporting capabilities provide consolidated, cross-platform, audit-ready detail on all aspects of an enterprise's IT network control and compliance efforts."
