 Dollar" issue (THE NEW AMERICAN, April 18, 2005) states concisely but accurately all that needs to be said to understand the economic problems faced by the nation today. No matter what sophisticated rhetoric economists wish to use to justify the machinations by which our money is controlled, there is no way that they can argue against the case you make for the falling value of the dollar. It is as simple as Mr. McManus says it is! Suffice suf·fice

 it to say the issue's cover story "Government Attack on the Dollar," which Mr. McManus also wrote, fills in the historical details, which is why the magazine is such a valuable resource for thinking Americans.

I favor THE NEW AMERICAN above all current periodicals because of its unwavering standard of what is right or wrong, good or bad for our country, based on the Constitution's printed words as interpreted by the Founders, as opposed to what may be politically advantageous for whichever party controls the government. Certainly what Mr. McManus contributed to the April 18, 2005 issue, along with others like William Norman Grigg William Norman Grigg is a writer of Mexican and Irish descent.[1] He was the senior editor and a prolific contributor to The New American, the official magazine of the John Birch Society.  and William F. Jasper, is illustrative il·lus·tra·tive
