It was named "Economics Laboratory" before its name was changed to Ecolab in 1986. Inc. declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.125 per common share to be paid January 17, 1995, to shareholders of record at the close of business on December 30, 1994. The new indicated annual cash dividend of $0.50 per share represents a 14% increase over the previous annual cash dividend. It is the third consecutive annual dividend rate increase. Ecolab has paid cash dividends for 58 consecutive years. Ecolab last declared a dividend increase in December 1993.
