Dr. Cords is recognized for the development and application of antimicrobials widely used by the food industry to control pathogens, as well as for his leadership in assisting the Food and Drug Administration in addressing threats of intentional contamination to the nation's food supply. "This is well-earned recognition for the extraordinary contributions Bruce has made to the food industry.
