Ecolab Once Again Named in the "100 Best Corporate Citizens" List by CRO Magazine.

, Minn. -- Ecolab Inc. once again was ranked in the 2007 CRO Magazine (formerly Business Ethics business ethics, the study and evaluation of decision making by businesses according to moral concepts and judgments. Ethical questions range from practical, narrowly defined issues, such as a company's obligation to be honest with its customers, to broader social  Magazine) annual list of the "100 Best Corporate Citizens," one of only eleven companies to make the list for eight consecutive years.

The "100 Best Corporate Citizens" list, published in the spring 2007 issue of CRO Magazine, ranks a company's best practices in the area of corporate social responsibility based on eight stakeholders, which include diversity, community, governance, shareholders and the environment.

The "100 Best Corporate Citizens" list is compiled using data from Socrates, the online social research database created by Boston's KLD KLD Kullback-Leibler Divergence
