BOSTON -- Eaton Vance Tax-Managed Buy-Write Income Fund (NYSE NYSE

: ETB ETB - End Transmission Block ) (the "Fund"), a closed-end management investment company, today declared a quarterly distribution of $0.45 per share. The record date for the distribution is April 23, 2007, and the payable date is April 30, 2007. The ex date is April 19, 2007.

The amount of quarterly distributions may vary depending on a number of factors. As portfolio and market conditions change, the rate of distributions may change. The Fund seeks to provide current income and gains, with a secondary objective of capital appreciation. In pursuing its investment objectives, the Fund evaluates return on an after-tax basis After-tax basis
