Eaton Vance Dividend Income Fund Declares Early Distribution of Monthly Dividend.BOSTON -- Eaton Vance Eaton Vance is an American financial services company headquartered in Boston, MA. Dividend Income Fund (the "Fund"), a diversified diversified (di·verˑ·s open-end management investment company, today declared the Fund's regular January 2007 monthly dividend of $0.0600 per share on the Fund's Class A shares, $0.0527 per share on the Fund's Class C shares, $0.0576 per share on the Fund's Class R shares and $0.0625 per share on the Fund's Class I shares. The dividend will be paid on January 2, 2007 to shareholders of record on December 28, 2006. The ex-dividend date Ex-dividend date The first day of trading when the buyer of a stock is no longer entitled to the most recently announced dividend payment ( i.e. the trade will settle the day after the record date, too late for the buyer to appear on the shareholder record and receive the dividend. for this dividend is December 29, 2006. The Portfolio invests primarily in a diversified portfolio of equity securities that pay dividends. In selecting investments, the Portfolio primarily seeks stocks that produce attractive levels of dividend income and which are, in the opinion of the investment adviser, undervalued Undervalued A stock or other security that is trading below its true value.
