EasyLink Production Messaging 2.0 Service offers customers an integrated "toolbox" of capabilities to manage the process of creating and distributing transaction documents electronically, replacing paper based processes and in-house infrastructure.

Companies of all sizes can use EasyLink Production Messaging 2.0 Service to eliminate or reduce the number of steps and degree of human intervention involved in producing and distributing business documents, gaining the benefits of lower cost, greater productivity, easier regulatory compliance management, and improved customer service. One of the first customers of EasyLink Production Messaging 2.0 Service, a large international bank, needed a more cost-efficient way to securely distribute statements to clients all over the world. Bank personnel were manually preparing, securing, and distributing these statements, resulting in a slow, error-prone, and costly business process. An EasyLink Production Messaging 2.0 application was developed in close coordination with the customer to receive an XML data feed directly from the bank and convert it into two electronic documents with custom layout, logos, and security protection. The first document is a non-editable electronic statement, and the second is a spreadsheet that can be imported into a customer's personal accounting application. These documents are packaged into a single e-mail message, delivered to the recipient e-mail addresses contained in the original XML feed, and tracked through EasyLink-provided administrative tools.
