FFlex eSuite is a Web-based suite of LIS solutions designed to streamline workflow, manage data and deliver clinical test results for the clinical laboratory. Engineered to be easily configured con·fig·ure

and scaled, FFlex eSuite can serve any size laboratory from the small physician office lab to the largest laboratories with multiple facilities. FFlex eSuite's unique modular design In the context of systems engineering, modular design — or "modularity in design" — is an approach aiming to subdivide a system into smaller parts (modules) that can be independently created and then used in different systems to drive multiple functionalities.  simplifies implementation and allows labs to choose applications needed to support their operation. As the name implies, FFlex eSuite was designed to provide unlimited flexibility with optional modules that allow labs to easily expand their system as their business grows. These modules allow access throughout a lab's facility or from remote access locations to a central database for orders, inquiries, quality control and reporting. FFlex eSuite meets a laboratory's growth potential by supporting any number of user workstations, instrument interfaces and remote access facilities.

HealthTexas Medical Group selected FFlex eSuite to help reduce bottlenecks in their workflow by implementing the integrated FFlex eOrders module at each of their 10 remote draw locations. Before, HealthTexas Medical Group was using an outreach system that failed to optimize their workflow. Labels had to be generated at the main lab instead of at their drawstations, with limited interoperability The capability of two or more hardware devices or two or more software routines to work harmoniously together. For example, in an Ethernet network, display adapters, hubs, switches and routers from different vendors must conform to the Ethernet standard and interoperate with each other.  with their EMR (ElectroMagnetic Radiation) The emanation of energy from everything in the universe. Although the EMR from electrical and electronic devices is typically measured for practical, every-day situations, every object, including humans, emanates energy. . FFlex eSuite with FFlex eOrders will provide seamless access to orders at their remote drawstations, allow their staff to print labels on site, and provide reporting capabilities at any location. "We look forward to improved system integration and workflow efficiency throughout the lab," said Dagmar Lozano, Administrator at HealthTexas Medical Group. "To help ease our transition, Fletcher-Flora's implementation team is working closely with our new EMR vendor to plan a phased and coordinated approach to deployment."
