Pepper's Ghost Productions Speaks Out
"The production of 3D animation for television requires thousands of motion, model, geometry, texture and sound files. With Eastman Software's WFX and DMX and the support of Transam Microsystems, we are now able to maintain and search for production data files based upon the descriptive properties maintained within Exchange by DMX," stated Chris Mills, Pepper's Ghost Productions' Technical Manager.
He continues "We considered several other products in the marketplace but only Eastman Software's WFX and DMX have the all-round capability and flexibility we require to deal with the multiple formats we have in-house. We now have a very stable multiple server DMX in place and are utilising it, together with WFX, as part of our own software developments in a major product to be announced later this year."
