Municipal solid waste (MSW) is a waste type that includes predominantly household waste (domestic waste) with sometimes the addition of commercial wastes collected by a
 regional landfill located in southern Georgia.

The landfill has permittable capacity in excess of 10 million cubic yards and is located approximately 45 miles from Jacksonville, Fla. The landfill is expected to generate annual revenues of approximately $3.5 million.

Eastern has also signed a definitive purchase agreement to acquire the Kimmins solid waste collection operations and transfer station located in Jacksonville. Solid waste collected in Jacksonville will be internalized into Eastern's existing landfill in Ocala, Fla. and the southern Georgia landfill. The Jacksonville collection operations are expected to generate annual revenues of approximately $6.5 million.

Eastern will also acquire the commercial front load and rear end solid waste collection routes from Kimmins' Miami operations. These collection routes will be integrated with Eastern's existing collection operations in Miami and are expected to generate approximately $2.0 million of additional annual revenues.

The agreements are subject to customary closing conditions, completion of due diligence Research; analysis; your homework. This term has caught on in all industries, because it sounds so "wired."
