Eastern Division. (MTNA Division News).Kathryn Southworth Lundahl received the Sister Anita Marchesseault Award for outstanding teaching and service to New Hampshire New Hampshire, one of the New England states of the NE United States. It is bordered by Massachusetts (S), Vermont, with the Connecticut R. forming the boundary (W), the Canadian province of Quebec (NW), and Maine and a short strip of the Atlantic Ocean (E). Music Teachers Association, presented October 20 at the Quad State Convention. The New Jersey State Convention was held on November 18-19, 2001, at the Lawrenceville School in Lawrenceville, New Jersey Lawrenceville is a census-designated place and unincorporated area located within Lawrence Township in Mercer County, New Jersey. As of the United States 2000 Census, the CDP population was 4,081. Lawrenceville is located roughly halfway between Princeton and Trenton. . The convention featured two guest artists, Abbey Simon and Douglas Humpherys, who held master classes and sessions. Other clinicians were Ingrid Jacobson Clarfield, Veda Zuponcic, Ray Landers and Phyllis Alpert. The West Virginia Music Teachers Association held its state convention and the MTNA MTNA Music Teachers National Association MTNA Middle Tennessee Nursery Association (McMinnville, Tennessee) state competitions at West Virginia University West Virginia University, mainly at Morgantown; coeducational; land-grant and state supported; est. and opened 1867 as an agricultural college, renamed 1868. in Morgantown, October 12-13, 2001. Stephen Moore, from Oberlin College-Conservatory of Music, was the guest artist and clinician. The Delaware State Music Teachers Association (DSMTA) Fall Convention was held in two parts this year. On October 13, DSMTA and the Wilmington Music School co-sponsored the Weekley/Arganbright Duo in a master class and recital. On November 10, there was a general membership meeting and the state competitions Winners' Recital, followed by a reception. The convention included concurrent MTNA competitions and the second annual Empire State competitions. Convention artist Logan Skelton presented a master class and recital commemorating the victims of the September 11 attack. Elier Suarez, Lee Evans, Julie Lyonn Lieberman, Tammy Lum n. 1. Commissioned Composer Erik Ona had his work, "Songs of Emily Dickinson: A Set of Songs for Voice, Piano and Computer," performed by Beaudette and Strempel. The Eastern Division will offer a Certification Test on January 19, 2002, during the Eastern Division Conference.
