(Division News).Debra Ronning, NCTM NCTM National Council of Teachers of Mathematics NCTM Nationally Certified Teacher of Music NCTM North Carolina Transportation Museum NCTM National Capital Trolley Museum NCTM Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage , is a lecturer in music and director of the preparatory division at Elizabethtown College in Pennsylvania. A graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania History IUP was founded in 1875 as a normal school by investors in Indiana County. It followed the mold of the French Ecole Normale. When it opened its doors it enrolled just 225 students. , she also studied solo and chamber repertoire with Alexander Fiorillo of Temple University and Vladimir Sokoloff of the Curtis Institute. She also has participated in chamber coaching with Samuel Sanders and Menahem Pressler. A passion for chamber music developed as a member of the Elizabethtown College Trio from 1985-1989. She has performed throughout south central Pennsylvania South Central Pennsylvania is a region of the U.S. state of Pennsylvania that includes the fourteen counties of Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Huntingdon, Juniata, Lancaster, Lebanon, Mifflin, Northumberland, Perry, Schuylkill, Snyder, and York. as a soloist and chamber musician. Her students have been successful in state competitions at the junior high, high school and collegiate levels. Her first involvement with MTNA MTNA Music Teachers National Association MTNA Middle Tennessee Nursery Association (McMinnville, Tennessee) was as junior high competitions chair for Pennsylvania. Later, she served as state convention coordinator and then as president of Pennsylvania MTA (1) (Message Transfer Agent or Mail Transfer Agent) The store and forward part of a messaging system.
