Ramping up to meet the continuing demand for development sites in Manhattan and the boroughs, Eastern Consolidated has hired two new sales associates and a marketing manager.

Howard Katz, associate, focuses on the sales and acquisition of Manhattan commercial properties. Prior to joining Eastern, Katz was in partnership with Symonds Properties LLC where he arranged financing, negotiated, purchased and developed various real estate acquisitions in the south-western region of the United States.

. As founder of the company, he was involved in and responsible for the company's day-to-day operations, marketing, sales and manufacturing. He is a graduate of Queens College with a Bachelors degree in economics.

Sandi Mann, associate, is also focused on the sale and acquisition of commercial properties. Before joining Eastern, Mann was a broker with GFI Capital. Prior to that, he served as an associate broker at Marcus & Millichap REIBC REIBC Real Estate Institute of British Columbia  where he created and implemented a data-base that highlighted all available properties in East Harlem. A member of REBNY, Mann graduated from Eastern Connecticut State University Eastern Connecticut State University is a public, coeducational liberal arts university and is a member of the Council of Public Liberal Arts Colleges. It is located in Willimantic, Connecticut.  with a degree in Communications. He is fluent in Punjabi and Hindi.

Gail Lewis, marketing manager, is playing an active role in building and evolving Eastern's marketing communications with an immediate focus on advertising, events and sponsorships. Lewis was formerly with CB Richard Ellis CB Richard Ellis Group, Inc. NYSE: CBG is a multinational real estate corporation currently based in Los Angeles, California, U.S.A.. On December 20, 2006, the corporation, also known as CBRE, completed acquisition of Trammell Crow Co. in a transaction valued at $2.  for almost 10 years, serving as project manager. Her responsibilities included web editor and manager for the Tri-State region Web site, transaction and milestone advertising and business proposals. She was also involved with other communications activities, including public relations and event management. Lewis is a graduate of Baruch College, City University of New York The City University of New York (CUNY; acronym: IPA pronunciation: [kjuni]), is the public university system of New York City. .
