East River Plaza project presses on.As the long-awaited development of the East River Plaza Mall moves closer to becoming a reality, the Upper Manhattan Upper Manhattan denotes the more northerly region of the New York City Borough of Manhattan. LLC - Logical Link Control are co-hosting a conference for prospective contractors to work on this monumental project. In the fall of 2005, UMEZ approved a $15 million Business Investments loan and $40 million in triple-tax exempt Empowerment Zone Bonds that will help turn the 6.2 acre site, located on the FDR Drive between 116th and 119th Streets, into a vibrant commercial center in East Harlem, New York New York, state, United States New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of . The project's retailers, including Home Depot and Costco, will offer a shopping environment that is unique from that which is presently available in Manhattan. "The development of the East River Plaza Mall offers numerous contracting opportunities for local contractors," said Kenneth J.
