The Ohio MTA state conference will be November 4-6 in Fairborn Featured clinicians and artists will include Melody Bober, Ratko Delorko, George Litterst, Eric Street Christopher Durrenberger, Joel Hoffman, Connie Anderson, NCTM, and Lyle Anderson.

The Michigan MTA will hold its 119th annual state conference October 16-18 in Kalamazoo. The convention artist is Logan Skelton, and the clinician is Irene Peery-Fox, NCTM.

The Indiana MTA state conference will be November 12-13 at Butler University in Indianapolis. The featured artist scheduled are Philip Glass and Bang on a Can Bang on a Can is a multi-faceted musical organization based in New York City. It was founded in 1987 by three American composers who remain its artistic directors: Julia Wolfe, David Lang, and Michael Gordon. . Commissioned Composer is Frank Felice, composer-in-residence at Butler University.
