Earnings Warning: Santa Monica-based Activision Activision, Inc. NASDAQ: ATVI is an American video game developer and publisher. It was the first independent developer and distributor of video games for gaming consoles, founded on October 1 1979.  Inc. warned that its third-quarter, fourth-quarter and full-year earnings will be "significantly lower" than its most recent outlook due to slower sales of its most profitable titles.
