Simulations Pins Inc. reported first quarter net income of
$243,260, a 233 percent jump from the same quarter a year earlier. Sales
for the Lancaster-based pharmaceutical software developer also surged 40
percent to $1.5 million. Hi-Shear Technology Corp. reported
second-quarter net income of $2.5 million, up 67 percent from the same
period a year earlier. Revenues for the Torrance-based maker of
aerospace and satellite equipment surged 33 percent to $6.5 million.
