EarlySense Begins Clinical Testing in the U.S. of EverOn[TM], a Continuous, Contact-Free, Early Detection, Patient Supervision System

RAMAT GAN, Israel -- EarlySense, developer of the EverOn[TM], a continuous, contact-free, early detection, patient supervision system, announced today that it is part of a short list of sixty companies chosen to exhibit at Facing Tomorrow: the Israel Presidential Conference to be held at The Jerusalem International Convention Center in Jerusalem, May 13-15, 2008. EarlySense is also one of six companies selected from the sixty to be featured in the concluding visual presentation at the opening ceremony of the conference on May 13, 2008. The conference will mark Israel's 60th birthday with a preview of what the future holds for the global community. The event will feature Jewish and Israeli contributions to humanity. Guests will include presidents and prime ministers, foreign ministers, statesmen, Nobel Prize winners, prominent journalists and leaders from the world's business community.

EverOn measures patient parameters from under the mattress on which the patient is lying. There are no leads or cuffs to connect to the patient, who has complete freedom of movement and need not suffer from any irritating attachments. EverOn detects heart and respiration rates as well as bed entries and exits, patient movement and quality of sleep. The device sounds an alert when a pre-set parameter threshold is crossed. EverOn also displays and records real time data on a continuous time-line. The time line is designed to help predict the deterioration of a patient's health and consequently avert a critical event.

EarlySense also announced today that the company has begun clinical trials of the EverOn system in the U.S. The company has been and continues to conduct studies of the system in Israel at several prestigious clinical sites. The data generated to date prompted the company to begin clinical testing in the U.S.
