Eagle Roofing Products Announces Plans for Building Texas Manufacturing Facility.

DALLAS -- Expanding its national presence in the tile roofing market, Eagle Roofing Products ("Eagle") today announced plans to build a new concrete roof tile manufacturing plant in Midlothian, Texas. Eagle Roofing Products, a division of Burlingame Industries, will begin breaking ground on the multi-line concrete tile manufacturing facility in late 2007 with the intent to deliver its first tile runs in 2008.

"Recent industry forecasts indicate that the housing market in Texas is significantly increasing and will continue to do so," said Bob Burlingame, chairman and CEO of Burlingame Industries. "The investment in a new manufacturing facility in Texas will enable Eagle to serve the growing demands for tile roofs in this emerging market."

Eagle Roofing Products will invest more than $35 million in the 225,000-square-foot plant. Eagle expects to employ 200 employees at the new facility during its first year in operation. The new plant will utilize today's most advanced multi-line, high-speed automated roof tile production equipment to manufacture four styles of tile specifically for customers in Texas and surrounding areas.

The construction of Eagle's Texas plant follows the recent success the company experienced in completing production facilities in Phoenix, Ariz., and Stockton, Calif., on time and on budget. Its latest venture, a manufacturing plant in central Florida, is also nearing completion.
