Eads Meads delivery note.

The tri-national Medium Extended Air Defence System (Meads) being developed by Germany, Italy and the United States is slated to receive more than 40,000 transmit/receive (T/R) modules from Fads Defence Electronics during the programme's $3.5 billion design and development phase, which is scheduled to run until 2009. The T/R modules are key elements of the electronic steering system of the fire control radar, which uses Active Electronically Scanning Array (Aesa) technology. Fads will deliver its SMTR standard T/R module built at the company's Ulm production site, dubbed the MicroWaveFactory.
