Eads CTC goes online. (Digest).

Labelled as the world's most advanced Combat Training Centre (CTC), the German Army has taken control and begun operations of its new training facility near Magdeburg. The centre was built by a consortium that includes Eads Dornier, Diehl and STN Atlas. The original CTC prototype was delivered in 1997, which enabled exercises of reinforced combat forces with up to 800 participants--the newly operational complete facility allows full combat training of up to 2600 participants, where all activities are displayed and evaluated online in the system's control centre. Post-training combat debriefings are carried out with the help of prepared information templates to enable participants to receive immediate feedback.
