EZGOV.COM LAUNCHES BIG GOVT. PORTAL; KEMP, CUOMO JOIN BOARD OF DIRECTORS.


ezgov.com launched an online portal last week that is the first to provide citizens in every state with a direct online link to their federal, state, and local governments.

Citizens and businesses across the country can pay parking and traffic tickets, buy stamps, view and pay property taxes, renew automobile tags, and search property deeds with a simple click of a mouse.

The site also provides a wealth of government-related information in a user-friendly format. At the site, users can:

* Enter their zip code zip code

 and receive instant access to a variety of information about their federal, state, and local legislators, including backgrounds, voting records and e-mail addresses.

* Perform a common language search of all top government-related sites on the Web.

* Access the state and local online government services available in their area.

* Link to their state government Web sites.

* Access up-to-the-minute national news through CNN CNN
