It's geared for daily cooks who have limited time to spend in the kitchen. Ingredients will range from conventional and convenience foods in the well-stocked pantry, fridge or freezer to special items that you'll want to pick up from time to time. Recipes will run the gamut from main dishes to appetizers, side dishes and even desserts. Let's get started. You get home - exhausted - and the kids are hungry and waiting for dinner. They want it now. How about turning out a pizza in no time flat? It's easy if you keep a few Boboli shells stashed in the freezer. In the morning, before you go to work, put it in the refrigerator. While the pizza is in a very hot oven for a quick bake, whip up a tossed green salad. Dinner will be on in a jiffy A fraction of time that has numerous interpretations depending on who uses it. This place is one of my favorite My Favorite is an independent synthpop band from Long Island, New York. They released two CDs: Love at Absolute Zero and Happiest Days of Our Lives. My Favorite broke up on September 14, 2005, when singer Andrea Vaughn left the band. standbys for rotisserie-cooked chicken (with spices) and Middle Eastern-style dishes. You can get in and out fast (the menu is limited to accommodate this) so it's a great takeout choice for lunch or dinner. Sandwiches, salads, entree plates and appetizers are among the offerings. Try the terrific chicken sandwich ($2.25), which is shredded chicken, garlic sauce and tomatoes rolled in a pita bread. It's delicious and one of the best bargains on the menu. The beef and chicken shawarma sandwiches ($3.45 each) are made with spiced and marinated slices of beef or chicken grilled on a spit. A whole chicken ($6.95) or a half ($3.75) comes with pita bread and garlic sauce. The garlic sauce is creamy and white and to die for! It's one of those recipes you'd love to duplicate, but so far we haven't been successful. Half a chicken plate ($5.45) includes two pita breads, garlic sauce, hummus hum·mus also hum·us or hom·mos n. A smooth thick mixture of mashed chickpeas, tahini, oil, lemon juice, and garlic, used especially as a dip for pita. , tomatoes and pickled vegetables, as does the quartered white-meat chicken plate ($4.50). The beef shawarma plate ($6.95) comes with beef slices, two pitas, sesame sauce, hummus, tomatoes, pickles and onions. A chicken shawarma plate ($6.95) and falafel fa·la·fel or fe·la·fel n. 1. Ground spiced chickpeas shaped into balls and fried. 2. A sandwich filled with such a mixture. plate ($4.50) are also available. The moutabal ($2.75), a smoky grilled eggplant dip, is fabulous and always a must-order on my list. It's enough for two or three (unless you feel like pigging out).
