 EXECUTIVE CHANGES AT KPMG PEAT MARWICK
 NEW YORK, July 28 /PRNewswire/ -- KPMG Peat Marwick, the


international accounting and consulting firm, announced two additions to its management team.
 Joseph E. Heintz has been named partner in charge of KPMG Peat Marwick's finance and administration function in the firm's executive office. In addition, Heintz will oversee KPMG Peat Marwick's executive office, which provides centralized administration and support services to the firm's 135 operating offices.
 Stephen Butler, managing partner of KPMG's international headquarters in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, has been promoted to partner in charge of the firm's U.S. international practice, based in New York. Butler succeeds Stephen D. Harlan who has retired after 35 years with the firm. Replacing Butler in Amsterdam, is James Sorensen, managing partner of the Rochester office.
 Through 135 offices in the United States, KPMG Peat Marwick provides industry-specific accounting, taxation and consulting services to a broad range of businesses and other organizations in the financial, commercial and service sectors. The worldwide KPMG network has more than 76,000 people operating in 125 countries.
