 EVEREX UNVEILS BROADEST PRODUCT ARRAY IN COMPANY HISTORY;
 PORTABLE TO MULTI-PROCESSING FAULT-TOLERANT PRODUCTS
 NEW YORK, June 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Everex Systems Inc. (NASDAQ: EVRX) today announced 20 computer products -- the largest single offering in its history. Each is intended to spearhead its respective category.
 The broad array of computer systems and components includes:
 -- STEP MPFT 2001 -- Multi-processor fault-tolerant network host computer designed specifically as a platform for Novell's new SFT-III fault-tolerant version of the NetWare network operating system.
 -- Excel 1G -- The world's fastest minicartridge tape backup system with a data capacity of 566MB, 1.132GB in compressed mode. It is capable of data transfer at 34MB per minute.
 -- Tempo series -- Nine additions to Everex's popular mid-range system line built to serve the corporate computing environment. In the Tempo Standard line, the five systems introduced are based on the 486DX2/50, and 486DX/33, 486SX/25, 386DX/33 and 386SX/25 processors. In Everex's upgradable M and C series line, four bundled configurations are being offered for the first time. These "plug-and-play" systems -- which include hard drive, SVGA monitor, mouse, and DOS 5.0 and Windows 3.1 software -- are based on the 486DX/33, 486SX/25, 386DX/25 and 386SX/20 processors. System configurations for the Standard line are competitively priced from $899 to $1,999 in order to compete in this volatile market. Bundled configurations range in price from $1,799 to $2,999.
 -- Carrier SL/25 -- Based on the Intel 25MHz 386SL processor, this all new modular notebook features a removable hard disk drive, built-in trackball, support of APM (Advanced Power Management), continuous power system allows uninterrupted application use while replacing battery, fast battery recharge time, built-in virus protection, and many other features make this the industry's most feature-laden and functional notebook computer. The standard configuration, featuring 4MB RAM and an 80MB hard drive, is priced at $2,699.
 -- AGI Metro -- Everex has added a new series of "barebones" systems to its AGI line, targeted at the SKD (Semi-Knock Down) market, a rapidly growing category in the VAR and systems integration market. The four new systems are based on 486DX2/50, 486DX/33, 386SX/33 and 386SX/25 processors. These base configurations include a chassis, motherboard and power supply. Integrators can then customize the systems for specific applications. Base configurations range in price from $279 to $1,150, and include a chassis, motherboard and power supply.
 -- AGI TravelPro -- A flexible and affordable 386SX/25 notebook in the AGI line with a removable hard drive, for use in the many situations where mobility and removable data are critical.
 -- MaxLogic -- A whole new line of "plug-and-play" systems targeted at the growing home office market. Everex enters the mass merchandising channel for the first time with this product array.
