EVENT LOOKS AT FOUR RELIGIONS CAMPUS DEBATE OPEN TO PUBLIC.

LANCASTER - Spiritual issues will be the focus of a Friday debate featuring religious leaders from four faiths.

``Faith and the Future'' is the theme of the event, which will feature speakers discussing Christianity, Islam, Mormonism and New Age/Paganism.

``We want to help foster an environment on the Antelope Valley College Antelope Valley College is a comprehensive community college located in Lancaster, California, USA. It is operated by the Antelope Valley Community College District, with a primary service area of 1,945 square miles covering portions of Los Angeles and Kern counties.  campus that's conducive to students interacting about spiritual issues,'' said Scott Crosley, president of the campus club Truth Seekers, which is sponsoring the event.

The event will run from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the cafeteria at Antelope Valley College, 3041 W. Ave. K.

The scheduled presenters are: David Parker David Parker is the name of:

``The goal for the night is for attendees to get a better understanding of what each of the represented religions espouse in relation to that religion's faith and the future,'' Crosley said.

The format calls for each speaker to present a 10-minute overview, along with a rebuttal rebuttal n. evidence introduced to counter, disprove or contradict the opposition's evidence or a presumption, or responsive legal argument.  and closing statement. Members will be given an opportunity to ask questions.

Dessert will be served at the conclusion. The event is free and open to the public.
